Maths and English Tutors helps private tutors of Maths, English and Science subjects to find private students in their local area. Advertising extensively throughout the UK (Google AdWords and other paid advertising on sites such as Gumtree and Vivastreet) generates a considerable volume of enquiries from potential students.
Each time a tutor goes on to teach a student that has been provided by Maths and English Tutors, the tutor must pay a finder's fee of £15.
The finder's fee is paid once the student has completed the first three hours of tuition. This fee of £15 is only paid once for each student or group of students, not after every three hours.
If the student cancels classes before having completed three hours, a reduced finder's fee should be paid as indicated below:
- One hour completed - £5
- Two hours completed - £10
Students pay the tutor directly, generally after each class. Tutors are free to set their own hourly rate although we would recommend a minimum of £15 per hour.
To register with Maths and English Tutors you must pay an annual subscription of £24. Your subscription will be valid for twelve months from the date we receive this payment.
If you would like to unsubscribe, you can do so at any time. We will only be able to refund the £24 subscription fee if you have been registered for less than three months and you have not gone on to teach any students provided by Maths and English Tutors since registering.
